Birth year/date (relative to Stian’s birth year) : -13 (so she is 13 years older than her mate)
Death year (relative to Stian’s birth year): I think she reaches a normal siderian age of around 108 (which is like late 70ties for humans).

APPEARANCE
Appearance & reputation: Shy and elegant sideress. She prefers to stay quietly on the background, which keeps her reputation rather neutral. However, later she becomes the well-respected mate of the Fjordland Force’s General (Stian). Also her skills as healer get deeply appreciated by other members of this Force.
Shoulder height: around 1,50 m - standard height for a sideress.
Physical description
Body build: fine, feminine and harmonious. Round and well-developed shoulders and hindquarters. Fine, slender legs with rather small, elegant paws. She has a rather ‘closed’ and collected stance. Average tail length. She carries the tip of the tail often a bit upwards and slightly curled. She moves elegantly with light, nearly floating and relatively short steps. Her movements are and collected as the rest of her body.
Head: pretty wide skull and a long and slightly convex profile. Lines of the skull and muzzle are almost parallel, but with the muzzle sloping a little bit downward. Her left ear has a typical little forward tilted kink. Slanting, green eyes with pretty high, typically shaped eyebrows. Low placed, rounded ears which point laterally. Quite a heavy muzzle and pronounced chin, given her otherwise refined, feminine body.
Fur: very dark chocolate brown coat with a subtle warm golden sheen. Structure is like the fur of an Oriental longhair; very soft and lying close to the body. Some mane around her head and a bit longer, slightly fuzzy neck fur.
Jewelry & accessories Pendant with a fang shaped emerald, a real carnivore fang and two jay feathers. She doesn’t always wear it but she keeps it precious.
PERSONALITY & CHARACTER
Personality and mannerisms:
Shy, closed and initially quite submissive. Sensitive but she rarely shows her emotions. Often suspicious and a little detached. Pretty insecure, doubtful and reserved, especially in new, social situations. In most situations she keeps silent but when she gets familiar with somebody her hidden bold side can show up. If that is the case, she can give very sharp, almost bold comments, after which she’s often embarrassed by herself and afraid for the consequences of her (too bold) statement. To family members and good friends, she really trusts, she could be very affectionate, intimate and quite playful. Vivanna has a very soft and careful nature but she doesn’t dare to take responsibly in important situations. Then she tends to ‘hang’ on others (often Noiro or Nucaya) and later her mate Stian. However, she learns to be more confident and independent after meeting Stian. Vivanna can be very brave (to the point of reckless) when really necessary and her mate helps her to show here brave side more often. This bravery comes forward when she hunts rather big prey.
Type of humor: she’s often too shy to joke.
Voice, manner of speaking
Low and deep for a female, but when she speaks louder her voice switches to a higher pitch and sounds a bit shrill and sharp. Like Zira in the German version of the Lion King2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX6ycB… .
Sexuality: heterosexual (and once ignited...quite into...passionate sex).
Spirituality and philosophy: she sees Life as all connected through life energy. Both currently living spirits as those who were and will become. She knows how to get in contact with these spirits and uses their- and the energy of Life in general to heal other siderians.
Fears: losing her mate…who is the most important pillar in her life.
Dreams: just a safe place to live a normal siderian life without major tensions.
Interest, hobbies, occupation:
She is interested in collecting and analyzing, stones, feathers bones and fossils. She can also enjoy music made in the most simple way (siderians can make complex music instruments though, but Vivanna likes the most simple things).
When her mate Stian established the Fjordland Force that fights against invading humans, she got an interest in healing those who got injured during the missions. She had to overcome her shyness but started studying different healing methods ranging from surgery and basic first-aid to ecal-energy-healing. It is the latter she got mostly interested in.
Special skills: ecal-energy-healing, which is reinforcing and directing the healing process with the energy of particular ecals (sort of crystals with mysterious supernatural and spiritual energies).
STORY
A peaceful childhood suddenly coming to an end
She was born in Notochord as the second cub of Yves and Sasha. The first five years of her life were quiet and peaceful. She was the boldest cub of the three and enjoyed exploring and playing fierce hunting games, particularly with her elder brother. She loved going on adventure with her parents and occasionally with Sabi, the hyena who was like an aunt for her. However, one day the matriarch of the local hyena clan came to warn her parents that they had to leave immediately. Vivanna didn’t know what was happening but that day changed her life forever. Strange hyenas surrounded her and her family and suddenly attacked her parents. In a swirl of chaos and panic, she suddenly found herself running behind her brother and with several hyenas on her heels. More fighting broke out between the hyenas who followed them. In all the chaos, she suddenly noticed how Noiro was carrying little Nuca and how the hyenas seemed to have disappeared.
On the run
They had run so far, that they had no idea where their parents were. Vivanna was too exhausted to continue searching. In the stormy night the followed, they snuggled up under a tree and tried to hold on to each other. In the bright moonlight, a black hyena (Sartra) appeared from nowhere. Still half in shock, none of the cubs attempted to run. The hyena was friendly told them that their parents had died in the battle but that she, as Sabi’s daughter, came to save them. Nervous and exhausted they had no other choice than to trust the hyena. Indeed, she kept the cubs safe and warm. She did her best to hunt for them and not much later another hyena appeared (Farran). Vivanna recognized him from the battle. He said that he had tried to save the cubs and defended them with his life. His battle scars witnessed of that.
The two hyenas kept them safe but Vivanna had not come over the loss of her parents. Her otherwise so bold and explorative nature was gone. The sorrow and trauma had made her skittish and distrustful, although she trusted the two hyenas. A few years later, two siderians appeared, who said that they had been searching for the cubs. The male (Tsjaiko) looked familiar and indeed, he said that he was her uncle. It took her a while to get over the fear for these strangers, but once she trusted them, she found a lot of support from her uncle and he told her many stories about her mother mother. The two hyenas had left them to get on with their on lives and now they were under siderian-care, which meant that they no longer had to live hidden from hyenas and siderians anymore.
To Mystery Mountain
Tsjaiko and the other sideress (Tuva) travelled with the cubs to the largest siderian metacluster in the world: Mystery Mountain (located in Alaska). There, they hoped to provide them with enough safety, siderian contact and learning possibilities. However, it wasn’t as peaceful as they hoped. There were tensions between siderians, arctians (a smaller, siderian like feline) and a few northern hyenas. When she was in her early twenties, her brother Noiro fell in love and left her and Nuca behind with their uncle. A few years later, there was an intense conflict in which Noiro’s mate and his sons were involved. Noiro himself was nowhere to be found and Vivanna (now in her early thirties) could do nothing else than accept that her brother was gone. She stayed in Mystery Mountain for the many years to come, trying to live as disguised and quiet as possible, while processing the stressful past.
Surprising changes
When she approached her fifties, Noiro came suddenly back – just before another fierce battle broke out between the local arctian pride, hyena clan, a group of rebellious siderians led by Noiro’s oldest son Rayo and a group of siderians that was coordinating the cluster, led by Atilla (Falkner’s father). Vivanna didn’t know what was going on and in the crossfire, Noiro’s mate got killed. A few years later, Rayo got murdered by his own followers and heartbroken by the loss, Noiro joined his sibling again. Roughly around the same period, a strange male siderian from the Fjordlands appeared and brought the news of yet another growing problem; competition with humans. No matter what this white one had to say, Vivanna had already fallen in love with his powerful, rather strange appearance. Finally, she realized that some of her boldness was not gone. And the sexual interest seemed mutual. The Fjordlander invited her to hunt together and not long after, they even mated. Vivanna’s siblings weren’t so keen on Vivanna’s seemingly reckless flirts with this big white guy (Stian), who apparently had a dark reputation with several siderian murders on his name. Once Vivanna’s bold love was on, she wasn’t convinced by her siblings’ warnings. All she saw was a strong and protective male with a surprisingly gentle touch.
The start of a new life
When Stian decided to travel back to the Fjordlands, Vivanna had quickly made her decision to join him. She was in love and was now glued on to her powerful mate. Their relation was characterized by intense love, despite Stian’s otherwise cold, hard and distant appearance. Once in the Fjordlands, he started up the Fjordland Force: a group of siderians that was fighting against the encroaching humans. There was a clear task division in the quickly growing Force and Vivanna discovered a new interest in healing and caring for injured and sick siderians. Her love-life was also flourishing over the course of a several years, she gave birth to four cubs.
A family in times of war
Vivanna’s confidence had grown a lot now she was together with Stian. He was the supportive pillar in her life, and he had made her a lot stronger. Despite Stian’s position as General, he tried to be with her and the family as much as possible and in those times, she felt finally truly happy. (See here: Under the Midnight Sun) When the cubs got older and could care for themselves, she joined Stian’s missions actively as a healer. Their cubs were now participating too and had they become very engaged in their father’s freedom-fighting. However, the sudden death of her brave daughter Siri (and her mate), left a deep impact. Siri was only thirty years old and had just gotten a daughter herself. Vivanna and Stian took over the care for the orphan cub for the coming years. Later, Vivanna’s youngest son (Morthian) and his mate (Mineuh) took over the care.
Losing again
This loss and all the other death and suffering that she had seen around her nearly took its toll on her. However, the support and inspiration she got from her mate kept her going. Another shock hit her when he got shot and she and Yava barely managed to save him from bleeding to death. She couldn’t fathom even the slightest thougth of losing the most important support in her life. But the inevitable happened a few years after he barely survived this indicent. Stian got suddenly shot again during a minor scouting mission. This time, he didn’t survive it. Without her mate’s support, she had a hard time not to lose herself in sorrow. It was Stian’s cousin Yava, who caught her from a psychological downfall.
In the 15-16 years that followed, she hung a lot on Yava and her children, particularly her youngest son Morthian. She regained some of her strength and confidence and it was thanks to the things that she had learned from Stian, that she could go on a little longer until it was her time too...
